In a touching moment Maureen Eykelenboom confessed that she would rather see the chest than the medal to pin to it, but was grateful and gracious in her acceptance of this high honour.
On Monday, 12 November, Maureen Eykelenboom accepted the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award on behalf of Boomer’s Legacy.
